Just another Saturday

This was done from one of my photos taken at the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg museum in Auburn, Indiana. It's been several years since I've been there. May need to go back this winter. Pitt pens.
This is a piece of Maintenance Of Way equipment that was parked on a siding at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Canadian National is the railroad there now. This unit still has the Wisconsin Central shield on the side. I have no idea what this does. It appears to be a large blower to clear something from the tracks. Drawn from one of my photos taken on October 20, 2008. Pitt pens and watercolor. OK. Anyone else have this problem? Our cat seems to think my sketchbook and drawing board are hers.

Oh, yes. I have the same problem. The cats have the whole house, but, put a piece of paper down, and here comes a cat to sit on it!

YEP! My Ms Patches! When I start drawing! I get all comfy! She can be sound asleep and boom! I have to readjust to the other side, etc. She allows me to run to the potty in morning, then waiting on me, I am escorted to the kitchen for Breakfast. When I was going out the door for work? Should would then decide it is play time and as long as She has Her claws in my shoe or leg or pants leg. --- Well, you get the drift. I just came in from some small shopping. Guess jumped up and saw I had put my easel up for a Commissioned piece- She is being most naughty right now.

I love your works. Even when your sketches are about local things, they sound like travel journal...

Great sketches! Yes I have the same and similar problem LOL! I think it's their fee for modeling so often. http://barbaraweeks.blogspot.com/2008/05/cats-computers-and-blogs.html

I love the line drawing of the truck! Yes, my cat loves to help me with my sketching. She's sure I couldn't produce a thing without her help.
